Sakurai Shrine

A landmark of the area, the paired rocks, white torii gate in the sea. The male and female rocks are connected by a thick shimenawa rope, symbolizing marital harmony and good relationships. Summer solstice sunsets shining through the rocks create especially beautiful views.

Sakurai Futamigaura
